We Are Recording Our Debut Album!!!

We are absoloutely thrilled to announce that we will be recording our debut Album on the Coviello label in July this year!

Can you believe that we have been a quartet for over 10 years…! For over a decade we have worked with some incredible composers and helped to create some fantastic pieces and we feel like the time is right that we should record some of these works.

The album will be entitled Strata which can either refer to layers that occur in the natural world (geologically) but also in the manmade world (both architecturally and socially). The album is centred around this theme of layers, and the different ways we as human beings interact, intertwine, and impose on the natural world around us. We start in the subways of New York City, through the city-scapes of Johannesburg, to soaring through the sky, gazing at the stars, and everything in between and beyond, and will feature works we have commisioned in the past, as well as some new works specially comissioned for the recording.
